My first day of not eating anything. I didn't feel particularly hungry at breakfast... actually, I'm usually fine in the morning, but I usually don't last long without a decent breakfast. Luckily enough, I don't work today, that saves some calories. I had a big glass of water at 9ish, and it appears that water do fill out your stomach! It's not lasting though... At 13h my stomach started aching.. it's now been 18h without eating. Had another big glass of water (about 3 dl) and it's funny, my mouth tastes like iron! I don't know if that has to do with the water's chemistry or if it has to do with the fact that I don't get enough iron?
I still go to the bathroom as I normally do. I guess that's because I ate normally yesterday.
I'm still in a good/normal mood... a little bored though, I would like to go out for a run or something. I'm gonna do some reading for English literature, and some translation so that I'll pass the Swedish to English translation exam! I still feel that I can concentrate, hunger gave in after my normal lunch time, which is at 13h.
3pm-7pm
I thought I was being very productive when reading and translating! I'm surprised I was able to concentrate for such a long time! I studied for 2 whole hours, read 25 pages from The Remains of the Day, translated one text and analized one short story! At 3 I was starting to feel pretty hungry though.. so I had another glass of water! That's 3 big glasses, almost 1 liter! I'm glad water stills hunger, atleast for a short while!
At 7 it's been 24 hours without eating.. and it now starts to show! My stomach is making noises and my waistline appears to be smaller. I don't accumulate that much fat around my waist anyway, but it's pretty clear that I'm not eating when I look at myself in the mirror.
I'm not in a bad mood, but I'm not in a very good mood either! I avoid passing by the kitchen! I'm both hungry and I'm urging for something sweet! Like cookies or something... if I ate now, I would probably eat junkfood that wouldn't require any cooking. This is exactly why when on a (normal) diet you should always eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, because it makes you not hanker for sweets in the evening.
In order to take my mind off food I try to watch some TV, scetch a little bit or read Guinness World of Records! And also I surf a lot on the Internet! It makes me think about something else...a lot of facebooking, if you want to know;)
